Cookie policy

There are no cookies on this website. Rather than ask you to take that on trust, this page tells you how to check it yourself in your browser, in about a minute.

This website stores nothing on your device

No cookies. No localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB. No analytics, no advertising pixel, no conversion tag, no fingerprinting. Nothing is loaded from any other domain. That is the entire cookie policy; everything below simply explains it and shows you how to check it for yourself.

1. What cookies are, briefly

A cookie is a small piece of data a website asks your browser to keep and to send back on your next visit. Cookies are what make a site able to recognise a browser over time. Related technologies do the same job by other means: localStorage and sessionStorage keep data in the browser, and fingerprinting derives a recognisable signature from your device’s characteristics without storing anything at all.

Under the ePrivacy Directive, as implemented in Czech law by Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications and read together with the GDPR, storing information on a user’s device, or reading information already stored there, requires that user’s prior consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has explicitly requested.

2. Which of them this site uses

None. Not one of the categories below is present on this website:

Consent is required in order to store or read something on your device. This site does neither, so there is nothing for you to consent to, and a banner asking you to agree to nothing would be theatre rather than compliance.

We took the other route on purpose. Instead of collecting data and then asking permission for it, we removed the collection. That means no banner to dismiss, no dark pattern making “reject” harder than “accept”, no consent record to keep, and nothing about you to leak, sell or lose.

It has a cost, and we would rather state it than pretend otherwise: we genuinely do not know how many people read this site, which pages are read, or whether anyone bought anything. We consider that an acceptable price.

4. Partner links: what happens when you leave

Commercial links on this site are labelled “partner link”. Following one takes you first to a short redirect page on this domain, which sets no cookie and stores nothing, and then on to the advertising network.

Once you have left this site, other companies’ rules apply. The advertising network and the vendor may set cookies or other identifiers on their own domains, under their own policies, in order to attribute a sale. We neither control nor can inspect that, and we receive no personal data back from them — only an aggregate count of sales, with no identity attached.

In other words: nothing is stored while you read this page. What happens after you click a partner link is governed by the destination’s policy, exactly as it would be if you had typed the vendor’s address yourself.

5. How to verify all of this yourself, in about a minute

Do not take our word for it. Every modern browser ships the tools to check, and they are not hard to use.

Chrome, Edge or any Chromium browser

Press F12 (or Ctrl+Shift+I; Cmd+Option+I on a Mac) to open the developer tools.
Open the Application tab. In the left-hand panel under Storage, click Cookies, then this domain. The list should be empty.
Still under Storage, click Local storage, then Session storage, then IndexedDB. All three should be empty.
Open the Network tab and reload the page with Ctrl+R. Look down the Domain column — you can right-click a column header to add it. Every single request should be to this domain. No fonts.googleapis.com, no CDN, no analytics host, no advertising host.
Click any request and look at its Response headers. There should be no Set-Cookie header anywhere.

Firefox

Press F12, then open the Storage tab. Check Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage and Indexed DB. All should be empty for this domain.
Open the Network tab, reload, and confirm that every request is to this domain.

Safari

Enable the developer tools once, in Safari › Settings › Advanced, by ticking Show features for web developers.
Press Cmd+Option+I, open the Storage tab and check Cookies and Local Storage; then use the Network tab to confirm the request origins.

What you might still see

Two things are normal and are not us. First, a browser extension — an ad blocker, a password manager, a shopping helper — can inject its own storage into any page; disable extensions if you want a clean test, or use a private window. Second, if you follow a partner link and then come back, your browser may by then be holding cookies from the destination site. Those belong to that domain, not to this one, and the storage panel shows you which domain each entry belongs to.

6. If this ever changes

We have no intention of introducing tracking. If that ever changed, this page would be rewritten first, and a genuine consent mechanism — with refusing made exactly as easy as accepting — would be in place before anything at all was stored on your device.
